Why Team India Lost ICC World Test Championship 2023(WTC)? My Review

This is 2nd Time Team India lost in ICC World Test Championship and after Team Dhoni ICC ODI World Cup win team India has not won any ICC Tournament. Do you know? who are the culprits of ICC WTC 2023 loss, the first IPL, 2nd BCCI’s Poor team selection, ICC’s Cheap policy, and the Third Rohit Sharm’s poor captaincy?

Let me elaborate my point of view, IPL is the main culprit behind this shameless defeat India lost this match without any fight only Rahane, Shami and Jadeja showed some fighting spirit rest of the teams body language said they are doing formality of playing this final for India.

ICC always organizes WTC final after IPL and outside the Indian subcontinent which is the biggest factor behind this loss as after playing 1 Month non-stop IPL matches, all team India players became tiered both physically and mentally and then traveled to England Ovel in different atmospheric conditions and playing totally a different formet. 20-20 game format and test format is totally different.

Now come to 2nd culprit BCCI who played a big role in selecting a poor team for WTC Final, BCCI always neglected Test players Dravid and Laxman is the biggest example. Now they are doing the same treatment to Pujara, Ashwin, Maynak Agerwal, Hanuman Bihari, Kuldeep Yadav, and Jayant Kumar.

There is no planning for the WTC final the player Ashwin who deserve to lead the team Indian in WTC Final dropped from the team and other players Maynak Agerwal, Hnauman Bihari, and Jayant Kumar given very good records in outside the Indian subcontinent not included in playing eleven that’s pathetic.

Rohit Sharma is not a captain material having very poor body language and approaches Choosing to bowl fast is a horrific decision that became a lucky card for Australia because chasing a target in the Final match toughest task for every team.

If team India wants to win WTC in future they must include Ashwin, Maynak, Hanuman Bihari and Jayant Kumar and Pujar and Kuldip Yadav in team India and make Ashwin Team Indian next Test Captain.

BCCI must use Fast bowler Jasprit Bumra wisely and  Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik. these three are the future of Indian test cricket including Subham Gill, Yeshasvi Jaiswal, Ishan Kishan, Prithivi Show and Sanju Simson.

BCCI must ask ICC to organize WTC Final in Indian subcontinent too and why only foreign team will get home advanatge. Team star players like Jasprit Bumra, Jadeja and Hardik Pandey must be spent wisly in all formet, dont grind them in all format. WTC final will must played before IPL or after six month break not just after IPL.

More than 10 years passed team Indian hasn’t won any ICC Tournament this clear Indication of money minded thinking of Indian cricketers as players want to perform their best in IPL only for getting huge money players auction. They are taking ICC ODI World, WTC and Champions Trophy, 20-20 World cup tournament as secondary option. In past cricketers always care about Cricket lovers imotions and pride of nation but today India cricket became a money gambling. They don’t having any emotion for cricket lovers even after defeat in final they having smile in thier faces which I never seen during sacin era.
