ICC ODI World Cup 2023

The Biggest sporting event, ICC ODI World Cup 2023 on the way to giving you the world champion. Team India defeated New Zealand by 70 runs in the first semi-final of the World Cup at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and stormed into the final which going to be played at Ahmadabad, Narendra Modi Stadium.

Batting first team Indian scored a huge total of 397 runs for Four wickets, with the top scorers Virat Kohli 117 runs, Shreys 105 runs at 70 balls, Gill 80 runs, KL Rahul 39 and Rohit 47 runs. In replay Newzeland all out at 327 runs and the credit goes to Mohammad Shami’s brilliant 7 wickets for 57 runs.

When Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell batted for Newzeland and hit Indian ballers every corner of the field lookalike India will again repeat the history of 2019 World Cup semi-final story but it’s Shami’s Tsunami which changed the game in favour of India. Williamson’s 69 runs and Mitchell 134 runs gone in vain because of Kohili, Shreyas, Gill and Shami’s storm.

This semi-final between India and New Zealand will be written as the Golden Day of Indian Cricket History as The Got of India Virat Kohli breaks the record of Sachin Tendulkar’s 49 centuries and becomes the first to score 50 centuries. While Mohammad Shami became the first Indian bowler to take 7 wickets in ODI cricket and became the highest wicket-taker of this world cup 6 matches 23 wickets.

Australia also defeated South Africa by 3 wickets IN the 2ND SEMI FINAL at Iden Garden, Kolkata in Low low-scoring thriller. Batting first South Africa scored only 212 runs and in replay, Australia achieved this target losing only 7 wickets.

The Final of ICC ODI WORLD CUP is going to be played between India and Australia on 19th Nov. India is the top contender of winning this World Cup as team India so far played like world champions and won 10 matches without any defeat. India has the most balanced team of the world with world-class batsmen like Rohit, Virat, Shreyas, Gill, KL Rahul and world-class bowlers like Shami, Bumra, Siraj, Kuldeep and Jadeja.

I am sure Team India has all the plus points to win this ICC event but the biggest drawback of India has not won any ICC tournament since 2011 and Team India must learn to handle the pressure of Final games like Captain Cool MS Dhoni. Best of Luck Team Indian keep it up and Kepp winning.
