Toyota Innova HyCross, The World’s first Electrified flex-fuel MPV Launched in India by Nitin Gadkari

To meet the need for Futuristic mobility Union Minister Nitin Gadkari launched the all-new Toyota Innova MPV on August 29 During the Mint Sustainability Summit which runs entirely on ethanol, a fuel made from plants. Previously Transport Minister has launched 100% hydrogen-generated electricity, Toyota Mirai EV.  This next-generation car will cost you between Starts at Rs 18.55 – Rs 29.99 Lakh.

The Automobile industry soon going to introduce hybrid cars such as the Toyota Innova Hycross, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki Invicto, Honda City Hybrid, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder while Indian Car brands Like Mahindra and Tata also planning to launch a bunch of Zero-emission cars.

Toyota Motors also confirmed that the Toyota Innova MPV will be the world’s first BS-VI (Stage-II) electrified flex-fuel vehicle. Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari also added that ” He believes that Biofuels have significant potential to reduce the Rs 16 lakh crore economic loss due to oil imports from foreign.

According to HT, The Minister also quoted that this car will be the first in the world to be Stage2 BS6 compatible and run entirely on 100 percent ethanol, indicated by “E100. It’s powered by 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine that can run on E85 fuel with A cold-start system as the car can start at law -15 degrees Celsius meets the latest BS6 Emission norm with three-way catalyst programming has been included, along with a change in fuel tank and fuel pipe material. Also included are an ethanol sensor and new fuel pump and filter.

This Seven seater MPV comes with 52 lit fuel tank promising mileage up to 16 KMPL and a dimension is 475 Mm Length, 184 Mm Width, Height 178 Mm and a wheelbase 285 Mm.

It will also include advanced connected features like 10.7 Cm MID With Drive Information (Fuel Consumption, Cruising Range, Average Speed, Elapsed Time, ECO Drive Indicator & ECO Score, ECO Wallet), Outside Temperature, Audio Display, Phone Caller Display, Warning Message, Shift Position Indicator, Clock.
